HoldTight 102 is added to the water used in the EcoQuip 2 to help the water better clean the surfaces by removing soluble salts and contaminants and to prevent flash rusting for 24 to 72 hours. Its easy to mix the HoldTight 102 into the water to assist during the blast and then as a wash down rinse after the blast. Combining these two premium products will provide the most economic, efficient and environmentally friendly surface preparation experience on the market.
- Mix the proper ratio of HoldTight 102 into the water in the tank on the self-contained rig.
- Allow the water and HoldTight 102 to help clean the surface during the blast phase.
- After blasting, switch off the abrasive feed and wash down the surface with the water and HoldTight 102 to remove any remaining salts and contaminants
- Allow the surface to dry and not only will the water evaporate, but also the HoldTight 102
- Begin painting knowing that there are not soluble salts or contaminants left on the surface or residue from the HoldTight 102.
